    1. Barbara Tuchman argues the British effort to force taxes on the American was a mistake, which she believes was a “march of folly.” Do you agree? What should the British have done?
    2. What are the reasons that contribute to the outbreak of revolutions in America and throughout the world?
    3. What role did George III play in the coming of the American Revolution? What sort of man was he?  Did his policies contribute to the conflict?
    4. All revolutions have specific causes, what were the preconditions, the long-term tensions, which made the American Revolution possible as well the precipitants, the short-term issues that American Revolution highly likely?
    5. What was the impact of the American Revolution in Europe and in the western hemisphere?
    6. There are many types of revolutions and civil disorders found throughout history. What does each type encompass? Explain.
