Doctor Lovett

 

Due to illness, Dr. Lovett will not hold classes on February 1, 2007. For the students in Modern Civilization, the quiz will be delayed until Tuesday, February 6, 2007.

Due to inclement weather situation, Dr. Lovett will not hold his classes on Thursday, November 30, 2006.

to attend Martin "Mack" Teasley's Lecture, "General Ike was My Boss: Kay Sumersby as Eyewitness to History." The lecture will be in Plumb Hall 408 at 7:30 p.m. on March 10, 2005. Admission is free and the general public is encouraged to attend.

The ESU World War II Roundtable's Spring Movie Presentation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. in Room 316 Plumb Hall. The films, "The Battle of San Pietro," narrated and produced by John Houston, was filmed on the Italian front in 1944, and the other, "The Hidden Army," was produced by the U.S. Army Signal Corps to explain the importance of women war workers in defeating the Axis. The film screening is free and open to the public. For additional information call (620) 342-1895.

Bill attended the Harry and Ike Elderhostel   in October and is an important participant in the Emporia state World War II Roundtable. The Topeka Capital Journal article was a front page piece that appeared on December 2, 2002, and can be found on the net by using the hyperlink posted here about the Forgotten Campaign. A great story from a Kansan and a native of Allen.
