History of Baseball
"To get along with me--don't increase my tension." Ty Cobb The history of baseball is a new course and will be offered during the summer term of 2007. The class will be available online for those interested. If you have a passion for baseball and wish to enroll, contract the Office of Lifelong Learning. The course will examine the history of the game, the impact baseball had on shaping America, and more important, how cultural and social norms have influenced the game too. For those already enrolled, check this site for texts, a baseball bibliography and other materials important for the class. |
