Afternoon Session: Archives Orientation -- Behind Scenes Tour of the Library, Research process, Hands-on experience with photos and documents.

Tuesday, July 15

Morning Session:  Presentations and Brief Overviews -- 8:30-10:30 -- Eisenhower: The Boyhood Years to West Point, Eisenhower: West Point to World War II; Eisenhower: The Presidency; Eisenhower: The Cold War. Discussion (11:12:00).

Afternoon Session: Presentations and Curriculum Development -- 1:00-5:00 -- How to use cultural resources; Photos, films, and audiotapes; Collegial work on Curriculum Projects.

Wednesday, July 16

Morning Session: Lecture/Discussion -- 8:30-11:30 -- Carlo D'Este, Eisenhower: West Point to Supreme Commander; Collegial work in groups to discuss methods/approaches best to teach the material from the morning lecture/discussion.

Afternoon Session: Research [Check Topics on  available before your arrive  from either the 101 Research Topics or Eisenhower Presidential Topics by using the appropriate hyperlink. Once you select a topic contact Kim Barbieri at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and let her know as soon as possible]

Evening Session: Lecture/Discussion 7:00-8:30 -- Professor Sue Zschoche, KSU: America in the 1950s.
