Cell: Inside the 9/11 Plot, and Why the FBI and CIA Failed to Stop It (New York: Hyperion, 2002) Available August 14, 2002. The
book involves the failure of the FBI and CIA to discover an Al Qaeda cell in Brooklyn
shortly before 9/11.
Jean-Charles
Brisard, Forbidden
Truth: U.S. Taliban Secret Oil Diplomacy, Saudi Arabia and the Failed Hunt for Bin
Laden (New York: Thunder's Month Press, 2002). The book
involves a host of conspiracy theories involving Washington and Central Asian oil
and natural gas interests, as well as the failed effort to get bin Laden before 9/11. The
books is a bestseller in France, but has been refuted by American scholars. The book is
available on July 12, 2002.
Richard Bernstein,
Out
of the Blue: A Narrative of September 11, 2001 (New
York: Times Books, 2002). The book will reach bookstores in September. The book will cover
all aspects of the tragedy of 9/11.
