The History of Terrorism is designed for both undergraduate and graduates students interested in the history terrorism from the Zealots to Al-Qaeda. The course was initially designed as a series of lectures during the summer term starting on 1 July 2002 and concluding 19 July. But has been updated to reflect the changes in the course for the summer of 2005. The course will still discuss the impact of terrorism within a historical context, the evolution of terrorism from the propaganda of the deed to weapons of mass destruction, the motivation of terrorists, and role of terrorism in both literature and film, and the future of terrorism around the world.
