World War II Online Assignments

Undergraduate Assignments:

Undergraduates are expected to write a comparative book review essay over four books not including the books required for the course. All of the books can come from the reading list found on Blackboard. The paper should be no longer than ten pages in length and follow the standard set by Kate L. Turabian in A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses and Dissertations.  As a guide, students are encouraged to examine a copy of either the New York Review of Books or the New York Times Book Review, which are both available online.  

Likewise, undergraduates will write two essays during the course of the semester. The questions for the essays can be found on this site under exam questions.

Graduate Assignments:

        Graduate students are expected to write a one comparative book review essay over six books not including the books required for the course. All of the books can come from the reading list found on Blackboard. The paper should be no longer than fifteen pages in length and follow the standard set by Kate L. Turabian in A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses and Dissertations.  As a guide, students are encouraged to examine a copy of either the New York Review of Books or the New York Times Book Review, which are both available online
